What are the Ingredients for Grilled Loin Lamb Chops?

Below is a list of necessary ingredients you need to prepare a grilled loin lamb chops recipe:

  • About 1-inch thick loin lamb chops
  • Dried or fresh rosemary
  • Extra Virgin Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Grounded pepper
  • Minced garlic cloves

Note: Select reasonable quantities of the above ingredients depending on the quantity of your loin lamb chops.

How to Prepare your Ingredients: Directions

The first thing you need is to prepare your ingredients for seasoning/marinating.
One way to fasten this process is to blend your rosemary minced garlic cloves.

Then add it to a large bowl whereby you will still add little olive oil. Mix everything and finish up by adding your grounded pepper. Also, sprinkle in some salt.

Now, you’re ready to work on your loin lamb chops.

Prepare your Loin Lamb Chops for Grilling

Remove your loin lamb chops from a refrigerator if you have them stored there.

Then let them sit on the counter for about 15-30 minutes before touching them: they will easily come to room temperature. You should also consider cleaning and rinsing your loin lamb chops.

Next, you may opt to trim any excess fat you notice on the loin lamb chops. However, avoid overdoing it.

Then, put lamb chops in the bowl/ container with the mixture you made earlier. Ensure all sides of each loin lamb chop are covered with the mixture.

You may leave the chops in the same container for about 30 minutes as you prepare your indoor electric grill.

Preheat Your Indoor Electric Grill

Preheating your electric grill is one of the crucial steps you should never miss out on when cooking most foods, and for loin lamb chops, it’s not an exception.

Preheat your electric grill for about 10 minutes and ensure you attain a heat of 375 to 400 degrees F.

A well-preheated grill prevent your loin lamb chops from sticking to the grill’s cooking surface. Additionally, it enhances the formation of excellent and clean grill marks on the chops.

Cook Your Loin Lamb Chops on the Electric Grill

Once your electric grill is well preheated, you should place your seasoned/marinated loin lamb chops on the grill for cooking.

Let the loin lamb chops cook for about 4-6 minutes on the first side before flipping. After flipping, allow the other side to cook for a similar period (4-6 minutes) before removing from the grill.

It’s vital to have your food thermometer with you to check when you attain the desired internal temperature of your meat.

For medium-rare doneness, consider an internal temperature of 145 degrees F, 160 degrees F for medium, and 170 degrees F for well done.

Remove Your Loin Lamb Chops from the Grill

Once your loin lamb chops are done cooking, you remove them from the electric grill to a platter. However, don’t serve them instantly. Allow them to rest for about 5-10 minutes before you cut and serve.
